Since 5 and 10 years have passed with only a few token areas flooding, I had to dig into whether SLR sea level rise is actually occurring significantly and where and beyond the academia/media complex overhyping king tide flooding as fake 'proof' the world is flooding. yes, a few tiny islands and a dozen coastal wetland, swamp and landfill areas are gradually flooding, but it doesnt strike me as epic or evidence of much, and in many cases the data actually seems to indicate these 'swampy' lands may instead be 'sinking'.
CO2 alarmists claim/promote the idea arctic ice is melting at record pace and displacing water causing global SLR and polar bear populations are perilously low, while moderate 'natural warming/cooling cycles' scientists claim that the antarctic icesheet is growing and greater than ever and the polar bears are at their peak numbers, not at risk at all. so which side has the flawed analysis?
two points strike me as significant and make for next level digging: a) the arctic icesheet floats on the ocean aka the water is already displaced. that sounds simply very plausible and would negate half of the SLR argument. b) the antarctic icesheet is expanding and larger than ever. if that is true, that would negate the other half of the SLR argument. if both true, nature would seem to be moving water from one pole to the other, nothing more, yes expect some flooding in a dozen unlucky areas ex. wetlands, swamps, landfills and tiny islands.
